July Series Picks
Saturday July 26th Bet 5 of 5
We are placing two sets of combination £1.20 EW Lucky 15s with two selections in the 3.35 at Ascot, but the other four are the same in both batches of bets – each batch costs £180, so overall spend on the day £360. We have returns so far of £1,446.09 in this Series, so would like to add to that ahead of a Must Be Won Lottery bonanza later. We need to shift a few more to get the full main perm on – buy-ins have been slow.
Selections and approximate odds below:
York 2pm: ALEEZDANCER 8-1 drifted to 9-1 and no match for Elmonjed the 9-2 winning favourite finishing right out of the frame.
Ascot 3pm; NORTHERN EXPRESS 8-1 drifted to 9-1 and just missed the frame in 6tn. Two Tribes at 25-1 beat Classic at 10-1 with Sword at 18-1 in third with Golden Mind at 28-1 in 4th and Kodi Lion at 11-1 in 5th ahead of our lad.
York 3.20: SOUL SEEKER 22-1 drifted to 28-1 and finished last. Air Force One at 15-2 won well from Bona Fortuna at 8-1 with Bayraat at 10-1 in third and Copper Knight 5-1fav in 4th and Birkenhead at 14-1 in 5th.
Ascot 3.35: SUPIDO 18-1/COSI BELLO 6-1 the former drifted to 22-1 while Cosi went off 13-2 and managed 4th. Fearnot at 10-1 beat 5-2fav Bullet Point with Hickory at 12-1 in third and we think Supido was just out of the places in 6th.
Chester 3.45: NIGHT ON EARTH 5-1 now a non-runner and bookmaker wouldn’t take our bets with the proviso if non-runner please insert Fancy Dancer Windsor 8.45. This makes returns on the Series £1,484.61 – if we payout we might be able to get some more numbers in tonight’s must be won draw.

Cartmel 4pm: SEAN OG 4-1 backed into 10-3 and looking likely winner, but could only manage third as 3-1fav River Of Joy swooped late to deny our lad and second placed No But I Will at 6-1.
Ripon 5.38: ROUNDHAY PARK 4-1 backed into 3-1jf and won from Gis A Sub at 9-2 and Ideal Guest the other joint favourite. Trainer of the third Harriet might get some consolation with Yannifer in the 8.15 at Doncaster. With two winners, a second and a third on first check returns are £1,082.69.
