Monday April 6th Bet 5 of 5

We are placing two sets of 87p Ew Lucky 15s with two selections in the Irish Grand National at 5pm with the other picks the same in both batches – overall spend on the day £261. Ahead of the April Series starting – we won’t be able to payout the March Series until next week due to holidays -we aim to start our April Series with Aintree this coming Thursday.

Fairyhouse 2.05: LIKEALIGHTSWITCH 9-1 – a blessing the club bet containing this not on in time – so replacement to be inserted and update to follow.

Wolverhampton 2.30: FORTUNATE 9-1 not so fortunate for us as Lover Boy at 11-2 beats Amber Ocean at 9-1 with Pershaada at 10-11fav in third.

Hereford 2.45: GRAECIA 4-1 no prizes for 5th as Lord Chamberlain at 13-2 beat Desert Halo at 9-1 with Granny B at 16-1 back in third.

Fairyhouse 3.15: EAGLES REIGN 14-1 faded out of it on the final bend as Fierce Handay at 11-2jf beat Blue Mosque at 6-1 with Buachaillbocht at 18-1 in third.

Kempton 3.30: BAHADUR 7-2 backed into 10-3fav, but no prizes for 6th as Topteam at 9-2 made all for a cosy win from Incemsed at 16-1 with Serenity Blue at 9-2 in third.

Fairyhouse 5pm: SHOWURAPPRECIATION 8-1/MONBEG GENIUS 18-1 the latter drifted to 25-1 and attempted to make all took a knock when Kiss Will fell, but still stayed on into 5th. Up front Soldier In Milan 6-1fav beat our other pick Showurappreciation at 10-1 with The Enabler at 28-1 in third and Argento Boy at 16-1 in 4th ahead of Monbeg Genius. Returns are £5.22 and £2.61 – this means returns per membership when payout is made in about a week will be £12.20 per membership. Just unfortunately holidays have got in the way as we start the April Series this Thursday at Aintree, so please do get on early.

Saturday April 4th Bet 4 of 5

We are placing two sets of 87p Ew Lucky 15s with two selections in the Haydock 3.20 with the other picks the same in both batches – overall spend on the day £261. We are aiming to end the Series on Bank Holiday Monday with the Irish Grand National the highlight – we can then start our April Series with Aintree.

Haydock 2.46: PORTER IN THE PARK 18-1 not in the first three as Walden at 9-2 won from Blue Carpet at 9-4fav with Secret Trix at 9-1 in third.

Haydock 3.20: OUTLAW PETER 17-2/TRIPLE TRADE 9-2 The latter drifted to 11-2 and unseated the rider after the first fence. Our other pick Outlaw Peter drifted to 9-1 and won well from Genois at 10-1 with Real Dreal at 25-1 in third and 11-4fav Guard Your Dreams in 4th ahead of Filanderer at 17-2 in 5th.

Musselburgh 3.42: PILGRIM 7-1 backed into 13-2 and after meeting trouble in running just got up to beat Gangsta Man at 16-1 with Lexington Blitz at 14-1 back in third and Heavenly Heather at 18-1 in 4th.

Fairyhouse 4.25: DIVABORIVA 16-1 maybe didn’t stay as Sept Etoiles at 80-1 beat Vitorio Piel at 18-1 with Daydream Nation at 10-1 in third and Found A Diamond 4th at 11-1 and our lad backed into 12-1 was 5th and that’s a place for us.

Fairyhouse 5pm: MESSERSCHMITT 7-1 drifted to 15-2 and hit the front two out, but the cavalry were coming and faded right out of it at the last as Kalix Delabarriere at 22-1 won well. So two winners and a place in one set of bets and a winner and place in the other. On first check we get returns to £530.89. We are aiming to close this Series on Monday after a Bank Holiday bet.

We have placed a batch of £1.74 ew Lucky 15s, so overall spend on the day £261.

Curragh 1.55: STAG NIGHT 4-1 drifted to 9-2 and found just Bodhi Bear at 8-1 too good with Staysound Susie at 9-1 in third.

Kempton 2.08: TROJAN STORM 18-1 drifted to 20-1 and not quite good enough finishing seventh just over three lengths off the places – as Align The Stars 5-1 beat Blindedbythelight 9-4fav with Spirit Mixer at 14-1 back in third.

Doncaster 3.32: GREEK ORDER 16-1 no prizes for 13th as Urban Lion at 9-1 beat Rogue Diplomat at 11-1.

Doncaster 4.40: EXPRESSIONLESS 9-2 drifted to 15-2 and third behind Mao Shang Wong 7-2fav and Glint Of Light at 12-1.

Kempton 5.03: TUCO SALAMANCA 7-2 won well from Knebworth at 12-1 with Change Sings at 9-2 in third. A win and two places on a tough day, so not the end of the world. We still have 35 memberships available for tonight’s £15 Million Must Be Won draw, so still time to get on. It could just be a very good day. Returns on first check today are £190.08.

We have placed two sets of 87p Ew Lucky 15s with two selections in the Newbury 3pm with the other picks the same in both batches – overall spend on the day £261. We are up to 93 memberships in this Series.

Selections and approximate odds:

Kelso 1.30: BARATABLET 9-2 backed into 7-2fav, faded right out of it on the final bend. Speiriuil at 5-1 won from Jericoacoara at 7-1 with Rauzan at 40-1 in third and Captain Butler at 4-1 in 4th.

Newbury 1.50: THEWOODCORNER 5-2 drifted to 11-4f and could only manage third behind Storming George at 10-3 with Glancing Jack at 12-1 ahead of our lad in second.

Navan 2.32: SOMERSBY ROOST 13-2 drifted to 8-1 another third as Catchabird 11-4fav won well with Sopelana at 12-1 just nodding our lad for second.

Newbury 3pm: STRONG RUN 11-2/ FRESH AS A DAISY 13-2 neither good enough as Charisma Cat 6-1 beat Pismo Beach 16-1 with Shotgun Shirley 28-1 in third and Trinity Street 20-1 in 4th.

Navan 4.17: NELSON COUNTY 8-1 drifted to 9-1 and our third 3rd of the day as Showurappreciation at 3-1f beat Kish Bank at 14-1. With three places on first check we think returns will be around £169.34. Returns were infact £208.34.

Saturday March 14th Bet 1 of 5

We have placed some combination Lucky 15s, not sure how much at present, but will update around first race. We have split stakes with two selections in the 1.50 at Uttoxeter, but the other four are the same in both batches.

Oops forgot to update with 68 memberships in place we placed two sets of 70p Ew Lucky 15s, so overall spend on the day £210. We are going to leave the Series open up until next weekend due to the slightly late payout on the Festival Series.

Uttoxeter 1.50: WELLINGTON ARCH 10-3/ BELOW THE RADAR 17-2 a winner and third with Perfect Day at 4-1 spoiling the forecast.

Uttoxeter 2.25: HARTINGTON 8-1 after a mistake on the far side did well to manage 5th. Doughmore Bay at 16-1 beat the 5-4fav A Paid D Nom with Santos Blue 16-1 in third and Nab Wood at 28-1 in 4th just ahead of our lad, but with bookies paying five places no complaints.

Newcastle 2.45: HELSGETAWAY 4-1 drifted to 7-1 and placed 10th. So no one extra places to get that win.

Uttoxeter 3pm: GIT MAKER 13-2 drifted to 9-1 and ran a good third behind Isaac Des Obeaux 28-1 with Rock My Way at 18-1 and Grand Albert at 14-1 behind our lad in 4th.

Newcastle 4.35: THE JAD FACTOR 17-2 backed into 7-1 but not good enough as Goodoldbill backed into 17-2 from 14-1 won. With a winner and two placed on one set of bets a three placed on the other we get returns to £197.26, so a small loss on the day.
