Beverley 2.15: COSMIC MYSTERY 5-2 not on in time so leaving this out and replacing with Tramore 7.30. Well that was a good start as Cosmic drifted to 4-1 and finished a never nearer 4th, but a great first day at school and if they all meet again we’d be backing the Wathnan horse to turn the form around. Queen Mary at Royal Ascot at 100-1 might be worth a small ew.
Chester 2.53: HEATHEN 12-1 finished third at 14-1 as Believeitanducam at 5-6fav beat Solar Pass at 10-3 ahead of our lad.
Chester 3.30: SUPIDO 3-1 backed into 5-2fav and another third as Lexington Jet at 20-1 beat Brighton Boy at 11-1 with Supido at 5-2fav in third.
Carlisle 3.45: SPONSOR 33-1 sadly never able to get in, so always out back – Blue Courvoisier at 5-1 beat Langstone at 11-2 with Crest Of Fire at 10-3 in third and Princling 2-1fav in 4th.
Beverley 4pm: FRANKIE’S DREAM 10-3 went off 7-2fav and another third as Glenfinnan at 12-1 beat Physique at 15-2 just infront of our lad.
Tramore 7.30: ROGUE SEA 6-1 sadly a non runner as the ground changed. On first check we make the return £363.02, so if correct that takes returns on the Series up to £1,357.65 and that works out at £12.93 per membership. We aim to make the payout early this week as June Series will start on Derby Day next Saturday.

Goodwood 2.35: COAT OF RED 9-2 backed into 3-1 and had no excuses as faded out of it into 4th behind cosy winner Dark Issues 11-1 beat Knock Three Times at 11-2 with Wondervision at 6-4fav in third just nicking the place from our lad.
York 2.40: VANTHEMAN 8-1 withdrawn as Partisan Hero at 28-1 beat Stratusnine at 12-1 with Toca Madera at 6-1 in third and Fortification at 5-1fav in 4th.
Goodwood 4.55: RILEY ROCKS 4-1 was backed into 7-2jf, but not speedy enough and finished out of the frame in 6th as Wedonttelllies 7-2jf won from Eightthreeone at 15-2 and Coyy at 13-2 in third.
York 5pm: FEEL THE NEED 14-1 drifted to 16-1 and no chance of winning as out the back most of the race. Golden Strike at 11-1 prevailed in a photofinish from Signcastle City at 13-2 with Quest For Fun at 9-1 back in third and Inspired at 16-1 in 4th.
Windsor 5.30: PRINTING MONEY 7-1 battered into 3-1fav and nearer last than first. Agitator at 9-2 won from King Of Montenegro 11-2 with Time Saxon Warrior at 9-1 in third. With just the one withdrawn at the start at York this means returns on the day are a miserable £17.60. Let’s hope we’re printing money with MBW Lotto 56 this evening.

Newbury 3.45: LOST BOYS 3-1 drifted to 10-3fav and won from Sahara King at 4-1 with Tierra Del Torro at 8-1 back in third. A winning start to the day!
Newmarket 4.37: BATTOSAI 9-1 sadly not as good as stablemate Sponsor that was a nice place for us yesterday as Folk Pageant at 25-1 beat Sharp Romance at 9-1 with The Joker at 9-4 in third.
Bangor 5.05: IS THIS FOR REAL 4-1 we had three places and our lad crept into the frame in third behind comfortable winner King Ulanda at 9-1 with Park Annonciade at 9-2 in second ahead of our pick – the only other runner to finish.Unfortunately there was a non runner in this race, so we will have to see if the three places are honoured when we collect. It was classed as a loser and they only paid two places.
Uttoxeter 6.50: SUPER SURVIVOR 9-1 backed into 15-2 but found Geezer Rockstar at 10-3 too good with Secret Trix 3-1fav back in third.
Doncaster 8.45: ON KEY 8-1 backed into 6-1 second favourite and had every chance, but could only manage 5th behind Bizarre Law at 11-1 with No Gain at 7-1 in second and Albeyours at 13-2 in third with Mini Mac at 15-2. So with a winner and two placed we collected £285.45 for a small loss on the day.

Ascot 2.20: TRIBAL CHIEF 5-1 backed into 9-2 and left a lot to do flying in the final half furlong into third, but The Wizard Of Eye at 20-1 and Great Acclaim at 12-1 were not for pegging back. Back in 4th was Golden Mind at 33-1 with Royal Zabeel at 40–1 in 5th.
Ascot 2.55: BULLETIN 7-1 drifted to 15-2 and could only manage second to bottom weight Wine Dark Sea at 16-1 with Opportunity at 4-1 just behind our lad in third with Too Soon at 50-1 back in 4th.
Ascot 4.40: JUAN LES PINS 6-1 backed into 9-2fav just nodded by Azure Zain at 18-1 with Fantasy Master also 18-1 in third ahead of Neyva’s Angel at 15-2.
Naas 4.57: ICE DANCER 9-1 into 15-2, but folded on the hometurn. Caught U Sleeping at 11-1 won well from La Fogata at 18-1. This puts an end to our £2.50 ew fivetimer.
Hexham 5.42: SARACEN BEAU 9-4 backed into 15-8fav but failed to make the frame as Perseus Way at 8-1 won from Sunset Hill at 12-1 with Johnson’s Blue at 14-1 in third. Returns on the day were £205.70.
May 2nd Saturday – Bet 1 of 5
We have placed two batches of £1 ew combination Lucky 15s as we have two selections in the 2.55 at Newmarket – the other four picks will be the same in both sets of bets. Spend on the Lucky 15s £300. We presently have 105 memberships in this syndicate.
We have also placed two £10 ew accas on the five, so overall spend in the day is £340.

Newmarket 2.20: FIFTH COLUMN 6-1 drifted to 13-2 and sadly just beaten by Erzindjan at 17-2 with Tycoon at 22-1 in third.
Newmarket 2.55: RUMSTAR 4-1/ FROST AT DAWN 9-1 Rumstar backed into 7-2fav found just Night Raider too good as Shagraan at 6-1 was back in third with JM Jumgle at 20-1 in 4th. Our other pick Frost At Dawn drifted to 10-1 and faded out of it.
Newmarket 3.35: BOW ECHO 4-1 a lovely drift to 9-2 and a wonderful win as Billy got the fractions right and turned the race into a procession going well clear from Gstaad at 3-1Jf with the other joint fav Distant Storm back in third with Into The Sky at 18-1 back in 4th.
Punchestown 5.30: TRIPOLI FLYER 10-1 drifted to 14-1 and a fair third behind Hello Neighbour at 12-1 with Kopeck De Mee in front of us at 18-1 with Letos back in 4th at 11-1.
Newmarket 5.55: CLASSIC ENCOUNTER 11-2 drifted to 6-1 and could only manage 6th, so killing our £10 ew acca and the sea of green on one set of bets. Spanish Voice at 5-1 won from Final Night at 40-1 with Sterling Knight at 11-1 in third and Man Of La Mancha 7-2 fav in 4th a nose ahead of I Still Have Faith at 17-2 in 5th ahead of our lad. With the Guineas winner and three places in one set of bets and the Guineas winner and two places in the other set we are off to a winning start with the Series. Returns on the day £485.88.
